Cambodia Immersion
On the 5th of July, 2019, 26 Year 11 Hennessy Catholic College students and 4 staff members will begin their cultural immersion trip to Cambodia. The students will be assisting with the process of building two houses for rural communities in the Siem Reap province. They will also be visiting a number of schools and the Sisters of Mercy Orphanage in Phnom Penh. This annual trip provides an invaluable opportunity for students to broaden their own experience and embrace the Cambodian culture and heritage. The students would like to thank everyone who has supported the trip by attending the various events organised and assisting with fundraising. A special thank you to the individuals and businesses who have donated prizes for the Monster Raffle and to Donges Supa IGA, who has allowed students to sell their tickets every Thursday and Friday afternoon for the past two months. The Monster Raffle will be drawn this Friday the 21st of June.
