Hennessy Swimming Carnival
Congratulations to all competitors on a great day of racing. The weather was perfect, and there was plenty of house spirit on display to coincide with our 2022 theme of living spiritually.
There were 3 records broken during the day by Nagle students:
- Mia Davidson broke the record in the 14 years girls 100m freestyle with a time of 1.09.25. The old record of 1.09.97 was set by Abbey Hall in 2019.
- Thomas Grainger set a new record in the 13 years boys 50m backstroke with a time of 34.40. The old record was set by David Smyth in 1989.
- Hugo Davidson set a record in the 13 years boys 200m Individual Medley in a time of 2.47.54. The old record of 2.51.56 was set in 1989 by David Smyth.
Nagle House were dominant all day long, eventually winning the carnival by almost 400 points! The final House tallies were as follows: Nagle 906, Gallagher 518, McAuley 348 and Rice 344.
