This week students in Year 9 History at Hennessy had the opportunity to learn about the creation of the assembly line during the Industrial Revolution and its influence on the modern world. Mr Miller and Mr Quinn’s classes got the chance to work in groups and build as many paper planes as possible as individuals, then decide on the best design and assemble the design using the assembly line method. Students found this activity very engaging and showed how efficient manufacturing can be if you use the assembly line method and collaborate with your classmates.
