Northern Territory Immersion 2022 –

On Monday we had a presentation from Bernadette at Catholic Missions Australia. There have been changes to the program with all students now travelling to Darwin and Kakadu. The cost of the immersion has been reduced from $3990 to $2990.

Cyber Safety Presentation

Next Monday the staff will be involved in professional development as part of the feedback to the Cyber Safety survey that students completed at the start of the term. The team from Cyber Safety will unpack the data with the staff. There will be a parent evening later in which the Cyber Safety team will unpack and support parents on the 6 October 5:30 – 7:30. Depending on Covid this may be moved online. The College believes that it is very important to include parents in these talks as it empowers them to support their children and also ensures that all members of the community are sharing a common message.

Police Talks

Last week we had the Senior Constable Shanelle Lockett present to years 8, 9 and 10. She spoke about a varied of topics that were targeted at the particular year group

Uniform and grooming

A reminder that students need to wear the correct and complete uniform to school and be well presented. If they are unable to they need a note from home which they need to present to their PC teacher or House Leader. Students found to be in the incorrect uniform may be removed from the playground for a break(s)
