Wagga Wagga Touch Football

The 7/8 boys, went through to the last round game undefeated, went into semis had a nice win over Coolamon and straight into the grand final against Kildare.
The game was fast, defence was incredible and attack was looking very promising. Unfortunately the lack of tactical touch knowledge cost us but, the final score was 3-1 . Lachie Shea scoring the only try of the grand final.
Another highlight for the boys, they played Temora and it was evident that they needed some help, the boys allowed them to score, helped them with defence and had some great spirit. Temora thanked us. You may have also caught prime news last night they were on there and had a great interview.
The 7/8 girls were also fantastic, losing one round game, drawing another finishing in 3rd going into the semis against Kildare who they drew to, unfortunately Kildare kicked into another gear running away with the 6-0 lead, therefore the girls finished 3rd ? for the day. They played well, we had a few injuries and they were very determined.
?Jarryd Foster took players player for the boys - incredible young player, excellent ability to read play, work as a team and just did not show any signs of defeat.
?Grace Shea took players player for the girls - her determination, strong defence and never give up attitude was a great support for her team.
