Easter Liturgy 21
Hennessy Catholic College held a moving Easter Liturgy on 1 April to mark the most important event in our Church’s liturgical calendar.

Organised by Religious Education leader Ms Beth Doherty, the ceremony brought together a 30-piece choir led by Mr Damien Foley, and featuring soloists from Years 7-12. They used the song “Broken Vessels” which was woven expertly throughout the liturgy.
Five stations of the cross were marked by readers from each grade level, marking Jesus’ condemnation, his way of the cross and crucifixion.
Poetry was used for each station and a reflection question relevant to the lives of the students was included.
Artworks of the five stations were done by Year 8 students using the Lino cutting process.
Thank you to all of the students who were involved in setting up the liturgy and gave so generously of their time.
