Fortnightly Report

We have had a busy last few weeks. Last Tuesday was the Melbourne cup which was an amazing success! We encouraged students to dress up as their favorite Aussie icon and boy did everyone dress to impress! Everyone brought a gold coin donation to donate to St Vincent De Paul and as a school we raised $353.55!

Which will go towards helping people less fortunate than ourselves. Fashions on the field saw amazing winners such as the Happy Little Vegemites, the Bondi Rescue lifeguards and Steve Irwins ‘crew’. Finally we had the Hennessy Derby Obstacle Course that challenged the likes of our amazing winners - Year 10 Rice. 

Over the last week, there have also been lots of activities in PC such as the among us challenge, wellbeing workshops, and NAIDOC week celebrations which include a colouring in competition offering canteen vouchers to the winners.

On November 11th we recognised remembrance day. We went to the Young service and laid our Hennessy wreath to honour all the fallen soldiers. Whilst at school the students and teachers came together to also commemorate Remembrance day, holding our own service and laying wreaths.

As we say a final farewell and congratulations to the graduating class of 2020 on their formal, this Thursday night, we are excited to welcome the new year sixes of 2021 who enjoy their first two orientation days next week.
