Welcome to Week 5!

What a memorable night last night, we celebrated and formally farewelled our Class of 2020. We were absolutely delighted to be able to invite parents and carers to this special event due to a very recent change in COVID guidelines. Bec White and her catering team rose to the occasion of suddenly catering for 180 instead of 80 and presented delicious meals. Meg Worner and Suzie Duff developed and managed a very successful mocktail bar. Many students worked at the formal last night and were a credit to the College in their presentation and work ethic.

Jess McInerney presented each of the graduates with some highlights of their time at Hennessy. Students enjoyed their evening in a stylishly decorated hall. A huge thanks must go to all the Hennessy team who worked so hard to transform the College hall into a brightly decorated marquee space.

I would like to sincerely thank all the Hennessy staff who have worked with these young students over their schooling years. They must be very proud of the wonderful young men and women they have grown into. Likewise, parents and carers should be trullly proud of their sons and daughters. For some of them this was their final Hennessy event after connections of many years. We wish these families all the best and encourage them to keep in touch.

Next Tuesday, another chapter begins as we welcome our new Year 7’s for 2021. They will complete a two day orientation program.
