The best of Hennessy

Over the last two weeks the very best of Hennessy has been displayed. The students were very respectful celebrating Lexie’s life last Friday, in what was a beautiful service, Open Day displayed the best of students learning dynamically in a variety of subjects and we appreciated every parent and student who came through the College. Remember that the College is always open if you would like a tour of the school. Please contact the front office to arrange a tour.

Parent/Teacher/Student Interviews

Again a thank you to everyone who was able to attend these conferences this week. If you were unable to attend please not that you can always contact your child’s teacher. Email is the most efficient - every teacher is listed on the College website and can be found with firstname.lastname@cg.catholic.edu.au Your feedback is always valued and we will endeavour to add Pastoral Care teachers to our next conferences on Thursday May 23 (Year 12 - afternoon only) and Thursday August 1 (Years 7-11).

Later this year, staff will be looking at different models for interviews throughout this year that will utilise our new House system and parents will be able to provide some input into what you would like - more information to come.

Upcoming Events

The Sydney Excursion for Year 12 is coming up soon. Having been on this trip myself numerous times, it is always a highlight of their senior experience. Students will be involved in a range of pastoral and educational experiences and we look forward to hearing all about their adventures.

Change of Date: please note the College Cross Country Carnival will now be held on April 2nd. Information has been sent home to families about this.

Mrs Scott is back from her study leave but currently at the Principal’s retreat. She will be back on Monday next week.
