IMPORTANCE OF ATTENDANCE
Regular attendance is one of the most crucial factors in a student’s academic success and personal growth. Each day at school offers valuable opportunities for learning, building relationships, and developing essential skills. When students are consistently present, they stay connected with the curriculum, engage more deeply in class activities, and build stronger bonds with peers and teachers. On the other hand, frequent absences can lead to gaps in understanding and missed chances for development. By prioritising attendance, students set themselves up for greater confidence, achievement, and long-term success.
CLASS SPOTLIGHT – YEAR 12 STUDIES OF RELIGION 2
This week, I had the pleasure of spending time with the Year 12 Studies of Religion II class. It was wonderful to observe the high level of engagement as students participated enthusiastically in a range of thoughtfully designed activities. They demonstrated a strong ability to apply their classroom learning in practical ways, showcasing their understanding of various world religions. Congratulations to Mrs Wright and the Year 12 SOR II class on creating such an engaging and interactive learning experience—one that will no doubt reinforce and enrich the concepts explored in class.
