Last week 16 Year 7 and 8 students travelled to Canberra Grammar School to participate in the da Vinci Decathlon, a competition designed to challenge and stimulate the minds of school students.

Students compete in teams of eight across 10 disciplines: engineering, mathematics and chess, code breaking, art and poetry, science, English, ideation, creative producers, cartography and legacy.

Our students came up against some tough competition but our Yearr 8 team placed first in Science and Engineering, a highlight of the day. It was a most interesting and enjoyable, if somewhat challenging, day!

A big thankyou to Mr Schmidt for his expert bus driving, delivering us safely to Canberra and home!
