Here are photos of Yr8.3 modelling layers of rock with fossils in between using different kinds bread, jam, lollies and sprinkles. They created sandwiches to symbolise different types and layers of rock and what it would look like when the ground bends and breaks. This is how we can age the ground beneath us and learn the earths history.
