Hey everyone and welcome back to the 2024 Leaders Lounge, this week brought to you by McAuley House Leaders, Sarah and Oliver - as well as Year 11 Vice Captains, Nic and Josh. 

Last Saturday on the 1st of June, the Hennessy leadership team and students had the honour of running the Parish Mass. Many students shared readings and even some of our very own talented musicians performed in the band. After the mass finished, students were invited to attend the Youth Group for some pizza and activities run by Mrs Wright - to which our leaders were amazed by the turn out. We thank you all for your participation and hope to see you at our next Parish Mass.

We are also extremely excited and looking forward to Variety Night on Thursday night at 6pm, 27th of June. There will be various acts - ranging from music, dance and drama, from some of our very own talented students on display and we hope to see you all there to enjoy this very special opportunity.

Back on the 13th of May Hennessy competed in their annual athletics carnival. It was a wonderful day for the students to compete in various track and field events. Congratulations to all that participated on the day!

On the 21st of May, Hennessy held their annual Hennessy Day celebrations. The students participated in various activities throughout the day. 

Parent teacher interviews for Year 12 are being held on the 6th of June, make sure you and your families come in to talk to your teachers.

Special congratulations to our fellow McAulian, Eli Terry, who was named one of the Year 7 Year Level Captains!

Congratulations to the Hennessy Day Cup winners - M6, who enjoyed their Domino’s pizza lunch. McAuley also placed 2nd overall in the Hennessy Day challenges.
