Student Rugby Union Success
Talia McKay- Year 9
- Talia will be representing the Southern Country U16s Girls Rugby Union at the NSW State Championships in Coffs Harbour over the Long Weekend. This team is made up of 23 South Coast Monaro and Southern Inland Rugby Union players. Talia trialled against 40 other players and is 1 of 3 15-year-olds on the team with the remaining 20 being 16.
- Talia has also been selected to represent the Australian Raptors Rugby U16 girls squad who will be travelling to Spain at the end of the year.
Liam Birks-Year 12
- Liam will be representing the Southern Country U18s Boys Rugby Union at the NSW State Championships in Sydney over the Long weekend. This team is also made up of 23 South Coast Monaro and Southern Inland Rugby Union players. Liam trialled against 30 other players.
Will Glover- Year 11
- William will be representing the Central West U18s Boys Rugby Union at the NSW State Championships in Sydney over the Long weekend. This team is also made up of players from Harden, Bathurst, Orange, Dubbo, Blayney, Cowra.
Staff member Emily Coffee will also be attending the NSW State Championships as the U16s Girls manager and will travel to Darwin in the October school holidays with the Southern Sports Academy Rugby Program as manager of both the U16 Boys and Girls 7s program.
