ICAS Science Competition

Last week we had 37 students complete this competition from years 7 - 12. For the first time this was done digitally and went very smoothly. We look forward to receiving the student’s results and judging by the caliber of entrants they should be impressive.

E.A.T.C.H.I.P.S

This annual competition is the “Eleven and Twelve Chemistry Haloalkane Isometric Preparation Smackdown”. This occurs annually before the current year 12 cohort graduate. This year the competition was filled with drama when the Year 11 students appeared to narrow the lead, but the Year 12 students rallied at the last minute and finished in first place. 

Year 7 Class Terrarium

7.4 were given the challenge to design and construct a class terrarium in a fishtank. It was a team effort with all students adding their unique touch to the overall design and construction.
