SILVER AWARDS
29 Silver Awards were issued to students throughout the year. Last week 18 students were presented with Silver Awards to acknowledge their achievement of 30 House Points, with at least 3 in each area of Living Spiritually, Learning Dynamically and Acting Justly.
Congratulations to the following students:
Paul Barrett - Paul has been involved in the Farmers Challenge, St Mary's Parish Youth Group, da Vinci Decathlon, Parish Fair, basketball, netball, beach volleyball and rugby 7s.
Emily Buck - Emily’s outstanding year in sport involved reaching CCC level in swimming, athletics and cross country, playing rugby, touch, beach volleyball and netball for the college, as well as working well in maths, history and TAS.
Joshua Cameron - Joshua has represented the College in beach volleyball, netball, touch football, soccer, basketball, rugby 7s, rugby 10s, cricket, the da Vinci decathlon, peer support leadership, and CYSMA.
Nicholas Canellis - Nick has been involved in a broad range of College activities including leading retreat activities as part of CYSMA, coaching the 7 / 8 Boys Touch Football team, Parish Masses, rugby league, netball, beach volleyball, peer support, music performances and the Young North Breakfast Service.
Izabelle Cartwright - Izabelle has been highly involved in netball, beach volleyball, touch football, rugby league, league tag, National Ag week, the NSW Merino Challenge and the Southern Tablelands Merino Junior Judging.
Zailee Coupland - Zailee has consistently acted justly by volunteering her time to waitress at the Margaret House Fundraiser, selling badges for Remembrance Day, helping at the Young North Public School Breakfast service, ANZAC Day and as an Open Day tour guide.
Camden Cummins - Camden has Lived Spiritually through her various leadership nominations and roles, she has Learned Dynamically through her achievements in Studies of Religion, Modern History and Acted Justly in Dine and Donate and the Young North Public School Breakfast Service.
Dieter Dickinson - Dieter’s diverse array of involvement includes tennis, chess, beach volleyball, basketball, soccer, NSW Merino Wether Challenge, Cambodia Immersion Program and Cross Country.
Caitlin Drum - Caitlin has been involved in the state finals of the Da Vinci Decathlon, Southern Tablelands Merino Junior judging semi finals, CG Netball as both a player and an umpire and Dine and Donate.
Isabella Harrison - Isabella has helped with catering, peer support, Harmony Day, Opening Mass, the Young Careers Expo and the Young North breakfast Service. She has also participated in netball, beach volleyball, and dance.
Ruby Holt - . Ruby has participated in the ICAS Maths and Science Competitions, da Vinci Decathlon, Soccer, Netball, Variety Night, Dine and Donate and the Fathers Day and Grandparents Day Masses.
Chloe Laybutt - Chloe has assisted with the St Marys STEM Camp and catering at the Margaret House Fundraiser. She broke the school record in the 50m butterfly, participated in all 11 events at our College Athletics Carnival and played in the College Chess Competition.
Sarah McDonald - Sarah has made significant contributions to Variety Night , Parish and Special Masses and Liturgies, Anzac Day, Remembrance Day and the Cambodia Immersion Program
Stuart McEvoy - Stuart was a star performer at Variety Night, scooped the pool to be Open Boys Age Champion at our College Swimming Carnival and volunteered to assist with the Cambodia Immersion Movie Night Hospitality.
Edward Maloney - Ed has participated in beach volleyball, rugby league, rugby 7s, netball, athletics, rugby 10s and touch football. Ed’s refereeing and musical talents have also been a great asset to the College.
Liam Payne - Liam’s participation in College sports, liturgies, masses and events has been outstanding, He has represented the college in netball, soccer and cricket, as well as frequently contributing to college masses and events such as Harmony Day, Melbourne Cup, Socktober & Dine and Donate.
Angelic Sutherland - Angelic has learned dynamically through her academic commendations in Religion, PDHPE, Hospitality & Mathematics, as well as her involvement in dance, touch football, netball and rugby 7s.
Jack Willis - Jack’s excellent attitude and spirit is evident in his tally of Live Spiritually points for a variety of endeavours such as participation in the Colour Run, Parish, Mothers Day & Grandparents Mass, Ag Week, Socktober, Youth Group & Melbourne Cup activities.
GOLD AWARDS
Congratulations to Elisabeth Hall, James Payne, Eliza Taylor and Jasmine Sullivan, who all attained Gold Awards. Gold Awards are the highest level of our College Awards Program and are issued to students who have demonstrated extensive commitment to the College in living spiritually, learning dynamically and acting justly through attaining 50 House Points. These four outstanding students were also our Top 4 on the Leaderboard for 2023.

Congratulations to Nagle House, our 2023 House Champions! Nagle have blitzed every term and built up a strong reputation of high participation and excellence. Gallagher House were runners up and Rice were able to just edge out McAuley to come third place.
