SWIMMING 2019
Congratulations to all the students who took part in the Swimming Carnival in February. The weather held off and allowed us to complete all swimming events as well as the diving competition. Abbey Hall was outstanding in the 14 years girls swimming events - smashing four long-standing records:
- 100m Freestyle 1.09.97 (previously set by Lucy Williams in 2010 in a time of 1.10.13)
- 50m Butterfly 33.87 (previously set by Stephanie McCabe in 2004 in a time of 36.28)
- 50m Backstroke 35.91 (previously set by Emma Byrne in 2004 in a time of 38.59)
- 200m Individual Medley 2.53.85 (previously set by Stephanie McCabe in 2004 in a time of 2.58.88).

Additionally, the following students are to be congratulated for their sustained effort in the pool: Hugo Kirkwood, Albert Dowling, Oliver Minehan, Nicholas Powderly, Ella Cross, Harrison Shea, Maddison Johnson, Lillian Williams, Macklay Brownlie and Angus Brown.
Gallagher House were victorious on the day. The final point score was:

We had a number of students travel to Goulburn for the Archdiosen Carnival in late February - our students preformed exceptionally well with the following students: Ellie Silk, Louis Clark, Lily Holmes, Abbey Hall, Tom McEvoy, Seb Stratford, Issy Turner, Sarah Dillon, Petria Scott, Lydia Martin, CoCo Adam and Jack Glover all qualifying for NSW CCC.
